The Late Dr. J.C. Dickie Richardson

It is with regret that we have to inform you of the passing away of (Dr. J.C.)  Dickie Richardson
Former Commodore of Holyhead SC.Dickie Richardson
Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time. 
His funeral is to be held at Bangor crematorium at 12noon on Friday 16th January, Followed by a gathering at The Victoria Hotel.

Emyr Roberts JP 13.03.1940 - 23.11.2014

It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Emyr on the 23rd November 2014. A keen member of Holyhead Sailing Club since the early 'Seventies' when he initially crewed for Eddie Davies prior to purchasing his own Dragon Class vessel. Emyr subsequently sailed with Malcolm and Aneira Levitt for several seasons prior to joining the crew of Karenda [approx 1982]. He continued to crew on Karenda for over 30 years. Emyr was a qualified RYA sailing instructor.

 Mr John "Scons" Williams

It is with the greatest sadness that we have to report the death of John who died on April 22nd aged 82 . John’s greatest love in life after his wife Sallie was sailing ,having started sailing as a young boy sailing Kingstown wags ,GP 14’s and ISORA on the likes of “Rustler” .In 1973 he discovered the Squib Class and his love affair with Squib’s started with the  purchase of his first Squib which was called “Pinkers” when he bought it .
